Dr. Aguila is fellowship trained in Surgical Critical Care from the College of Medicine, Mayo Clinic Rochester. His surgery training was completed at Mount Carmel General Surgery Residency Program but included other prestigious institutions such as the Mayo Clinic Rochester, the University of Florida and the University of Guadalajara.

Dr. Aguila is bilingual and welcomes both English and Spanish speaking patients. He manages all general surgical conditions and is proficient in both minimally invasive and open techniques. He has a special interest for oncology, endocrine, gastrointestinal and hernia surgery.
