Job Summary
In accordance with the mission of Taylor Station Surgical Center. The Central Sterile Coordinator will function in the spirit of teamwork, under the direction of the Clinical manager. The Central Sterile Coordinator is accountable for overseeing all aspects of acquisition and processing of surgical instrumentation needed for surgical procedures performed in the Center. Responsible and accountable for adherence to and monitoring of all regulatory standards for Central Sterile.

Job Qualifications
• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and count accurately and comprehend detailed instructions.
• Minimum of three (3) years progressive experience in a sterile processing department preferred.
• Be functionally familiar with surgical procedures and surgical instrumentation terminology and the supplies and instrumentation to support those procedures.
• Experience in computerized inventory and preference card systems.
• Must possess good manual dexterity.
• Self-motivated, accountable for own action, able to work with a minimum amount of supervision and able and willing to direct others.
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills and be willing to work in a team environment.
• Possess good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

The Surgical Technologist will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, and social needs with respect to the beliefs and values of co-workers, patients, and their families. The Surgical Technician functions in the spirit of teamwork with other Center staff members to assist with surgical procedures on assigned patients.

Job Qualifications
• Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology program – required.
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate a willingness to work in a team environment.
• One year previous surgical technician experience – preferred.
• Certification in Surgical Technology – desired.
• Membership in a professional organization such as Association of Surgical Technologists- desired.

In accordance with the mission of Taylor Station Surgical Center and within the scope of the Ohio Practice Act, the Registered Nurse will function in the spirit of teamwork in the daily delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the Organization.

Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in the State of Ohio.
Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrates competency in basic EKG interpretation.
Demonstrate a willingness to work in a team environment.
Demonstrates the ability to plan, organize and manage patient care as well as supervision of care team.
Current ACLS and BLS.
1 years preferred relevant clinical experience.
Demonstrated flexibility with work hours.
