Job Summary-In accordance with the mission of Taylor Station Surgical Center the Administrative Assistant to Operations assist the Operations Manager with various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel. Assist in benefit administration to include, change reporting and communicating benefit information to employees. Assist management by verifying quality of selection decisions through appropriate employment background, criminal history, licensure verifications, reference checks etc. Schedules appropriate appointments for new hires such as physicals, various employments testing, TB testing, etc. Processes newly hired employees and inputs information into systems as appropriate. Conducts new-employee orientations to new hires to Center and provides them with the appropriate paperwork to complete.

Job Summary
In accordance with the mission of Taylor Station Surgical Center, the Administrative Financial Coordinator Ensures accurate and complete collection of patient medical record information in scheduling, pre-registration, registration, and insurance verification as necessary, and correcting information and creating new documentation as necessary. Facilitates billing problem resolution between patient, billing company, and Center Management, including arranging payment plans and application for financial hardship in conjunction with Operations Manager and/or Director. Supports the Center Director, Operations Manager, and Clinical Manager in by generating regular reports, data entry and trending analysis. Assists the Center Director, Operations Manager, and Clinical Manager in acting as a liaison between patients, vendors, and physician offices in problem resolution as requested and commutation. Assists Center Director with credentialing for both initial application and reappointment application process of medical staff. Responsible for coverage of administrative positions as necessary with the exception of coding.

Job Summary
In accordance with the mission of Taylor Station Surgical Center, the Administrative Float ensures timely preparation of Electronic Health Records to expedite the Pre-Admission testing process. Works in conjunction with the PAT Nurses to ensure all appropriate health history is gathered in a timely fashion. Operations: Ensures complete charting and documentation of patient medical records in accordance with quality and regulatory standards. Responsible for effectively and efficiently communicating with physicians, physician offices and TSSC staff. Responsible for monitoring and reporting information in accordance with performance improvement requirements and as it relates to patient medical records and information. Ensures necessary documents are in the chart. Accesses various software programs to gather pertinent patient information. Responsible for collecting and inputting information pertinent to the pre-admission testing process. Scheduling of interpreters when needed for any speciality.

In accordance with the mission of Taylor Station Surgical Center. The Assistant Manager of Scheduling is accountable for: Scheduling any surgical, endoscopy, and pain management procedures. Ensures accurate and complete collection of patient surgical scheduling information and accurate data entry. Serves as a resource person for the Operating Room staff, Scheduling staff, Materials Management staff and Sterile Processing. Effectively communicates in a timely manner, with physician offices and is able to quickly identify scheduling conflicts.

The Central Sterile Coordinator is accountable for overseeing all aspects of acquisition and processing of surgical instrumentation needed for surgical procedures performed in the Center. Responsible and accountable for adherence to and monitoring of all regulatory standards for Central Sterile.

Job Summary
In accordance with the mission of Taylor Station Surgical Center. The Surgery Center Director of Nursing is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the clinical operations of the Surgery Center. Ensure patient needs are met in accordance with the instructions of physician and facility administrative procedures. Coordinates activities routinely as appropriate, with the Administrator, the Medical Director, Assistant Nurse Managers, Operations Manager and the QAPI Coordinator. The Director of Nursing will plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of our clinical staff in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guideline and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator and Medical Director, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Job Summary
In accordance with the mission of Taylor Station Surgical Center, the Endoscopy Tech gathers appropriate scopes and supplies to perform endoscopic procedures and sets up the endoscopy room and assures proper functioning of equipment prior to start of procedures. Assists RN and/or physician with procedures as directed. Properly cleans, leak tests and disinfects endoscopy equipment and maintains proper logs according to policy. Prepares defective equipment for shipping to repair company and reports any defective equipment to appropriate person. Operates all endoscopic equipment according to manufacturer’s guidelines. Function in the spirit of teamwork under the direction of the RN and within the standards, policies, and procedures of the organization. Training provided by Taylor Station, Medical experience preferred but not required.

Job Summary
In accordance with the mission of Taylor Station Surgical Center. Assists the QAPI Coordinator with entry, auditing, mining, trending and compilation of QAPI data for reporting to Management Team, QAPI Committee, Physician Action Committee and the Board of Managers, as well as state and national reporting databases as directed. Supports the Facility Administrator and Clinical Managers in by generating regular reports, data entry and trending analysis. Attends and records EOC/Safety, QAPI, and Ad Hoc Meetings as assigned. Ensures a safe work environment for campus and center faculty/staff/students/guests through implementation of appropriate regulations and applicable codes. Coordinates with district maintenance resources to correct problems with heating, cooling and other mechanical systems, plumbing systems, fire and security alarm systems, elevator systems, custodial equipment and department key control. Inspects and evaluates quality of Physical Plant performance, Appearance and Safety. Support to facilities and customers.

Responsible for organization and maintenance of medical records, filing, and documentation for the Medical Records Department, Taylor Station Surgical Center (TSSC) staff, and physician offices. Ensures accurate and timely billing of procedures by coordinating documentation needs with the billing service and physician offices, as necessary.

Job Summary
In accordance with the mission of Taylor Station Surgical Center, the Materials Coordinator assists with inventory management including but not limited to purchasing, coordinating, stocking supplies and accompanying data entry for tracking. Responsible for pre-admission preparation including but not limited to: organizing and making sure all equipment, supplies, and implants are available for procedures scheduled and serves as a resource person to the Operating Room staff. Identifies and studies problems relative to the flow of supplies and develops new procedures relative to the flow of supplies by collaborating with the involved personnel. Implements changes directed by Clinical Manager relative to the flow of supplies in TSSC and educates staff of changes. Assists in evaluating surgical supplies and equipment. Insures that special order items or implants are available by reviewing the surgery schedule and collaborating with physicians offices, Central Sterile and the Clinical Nurse Managers. Maintains par levels of surgical supplies on weekly basis and establishes inventory list for TSSC and maintains inventory in computer system. Participates in Inventory counts on a routine basis.

Responsible for organization and maintenance of medical records, filing, and documentation for the Medical Records Department and ensures accurate and timely completion of medical record documentation including following-up with physicians, Taylor Station Surgical Center (TSSC) staff, and physician offices. Ensures accurate and timely billing of procedures by coordinating documentation needs with the billing service and physician offices, as necessary.

The Quality Assurance Program Coordinator is a co-team leader of both Performance Improvement – Risk Management and the Safety Team Committees The Quality Assurance Program Coordinator is responsible for Electronic Health Record enhancements pertaining to usage, forms development, auditing and compliance as guided by Joint Commission and Ohio Department of Health. Serves as a QI liaison with external agencies (CMS, ODH,TJC, etc) as Coordinate Education development in Healthstream. Leads Safety, EOC, Infection Prevention, and Performance Improvement Committees.

Ensures accurate and complete collection of patient surgical scheduling information and data entry into the AdvantX system. Effectively communicates, in a timely manner, with appropriate Taylor Station Surgical Center (TSSC) staff regarding special needs, instrumentation requests, and case add-ons and cancellations and with physician offices to add, modify or cancel surgical, endoscopy, and pain management procedures.
